Dear Customer:
First Chin and I would like to thank you for visiting
our web site. As it was probably explained, each piece is hand-drawn
and engraved ensuring that no two pieces are identical.
Hand-cut letters provide for a finer more delicate
detail, such as pointed or squared tips which enable us to space the
lettering closer together. The results are, your name spaced and centered
on top the bracelet keeping the design and if applicable, attached
crests or badges visible. As you wear your bracelet and compare it
to other's offered on the market, you will notice a stark contrast
between machine cut letters that have rounded blunt ends with little
or no character.
The design around the back is hand-drawn and not
traced from templates or engraved by computer enabling us to fit as
much pattern as possible on every bracelet we do. This difference
is important because most manufacturers today will stretch a pattern
as much as possible to reduce labor costs. It takes just as much time
to do a short fitted scroll as an elongated one, meaning we fit two
scrolls in a space most manufacturers will stretch one.
Our badges or Hawaiian Seals are soldered directly
to the bracelet meaning they will never fall off. This technique requires
a degree of skill that no other shop has been able to duplicate. Everyone
of our badges are die struck and glass enameled in house by my wife
and I, ensuring only the finest standards of quality for our customers.
We hope you enjoy your bracelet, and by knowing
these not so subtle differences will be able to enjoy renewed appreciation
when comparing your bracelets with other's being offered in the marketplace.
Sincerely:
Harlan (Bub) & Chin Hue Talkington (Sunnie)
